Our Venues

 

Here at UNSU, we have three fantastic venues for our students to utilise. We have undergone some major refurbishments in the last 6 months or so with our Students' Union building getting completely gutted and refitted last summer. It has to be seen and in comparison to what it did look like; it is unbelievable! The Students' Union also re-gained ownership of The Pavilion Bar/ Cafe during the summer and during the winter 2011/2012 close it has had a brand new bar fitted and some slick new furniture.

At Park Campus, Central Park Bar and NN2 nightclub have both been redecorated with some stylish new furniture for our students to use. All of this was done so we at UNSU can enhance the Student Experience as much as we possibly can!

 

Central Park Bar

Come down to Central Park Bar, Park Campus for a few day-time drinks, something to eat or to watch your sports in the evenings! Central Park also plays host to the brand new club nights for 2012, QUIRKY and NICHE- so make sure you get down for a Tuesday night! Keep an eye on our events calender on our homepage to check for any new events that may be occuring at Central Park.

NN2 Nightclub 

Our 500-capacity nightclub above Central Park Bar, NN2, is the only place to be on a Saturday night! NN2 hosts the UK's number 1 student night every Saturday from 11pm, Flirt! Perfect for students living in halls, keep checking our events list to keep up with any themes the night may have! We also use the nightclub for various other reasons including Zumba classes every Tuesday and to show live sport. We will also be hosting live music and comedy nights in the venue, so keep your eyes peeled!

The Pavilion

The Pavilion has undergone major refurbishments for the start of 2012! It is situated on Park Campus behind Spar and the Leathersellers Centre and acts as a Cafe/Bar. As well as your breakfasts, lunch, snacks and coffe; The Pavilion now has a new evening menu with two meals for £6.99! As well as delightful food, The Pavilion offers cocktails every night of the week as well as various events such as karaoke, open mic nights and Rock n Roll Bingo! The Pavilion also acts as the official pre-bar for Flirt! every Saturday night, so make sure you get your 2-4-1 cocktails before heading down to NN2!

George's Bar

George's Bar is our venue situated on Avenue Campus. Your union at Avenue has its own convenience store, own radio station as well as being an amazing bar and club! Get food here all day every day, watch your sports in 3D on our brand new screens and come down on a Thursday night for Avenue's favourite; Ear Candy! There are always numerous different events utilising George's Bar so ensure to keep checking our events list to keep up-to-date with what is going on.
