Student Council

If you've never been before, you don't know what you're missing!

Student Council is the decision-making committee of the Union; it's the place where policy is ratified, reports are delivered, and votes of no confidence against Officers are considered.

We give the decision-making power right back to the students; we contact all students to ask if they'd like to be Councillors. We need 16 students to make up the 'panel', and these students say either yes or no to the questions posed to them.

The three sabbaticals would like to point out the inconsistent recording of hours worked on behalf of the Student Union is entirely due to poor from filling, and do not truly reflect the hours of work completed. We have fulfilled our contracted hours of 35 hours per week. The time sheet will be completed on a daily basis from now on.
