The Hindu Society was formed last year in 2011 and its aim is to provide a network for students to interact and learn from one another about Hinduism. This society is open to all also it provides an opportunity for students with support and spiritual education and can create a ‘Home’ away from home by having regularly aarti’s and trips to Mandirs. We also meet weekly where we discuss and share our views on a chosen topic.
The Hindu Society is a part of the National Hindu Society Forum (NHSF). Within this there are many activities where we will work together with other universities across the Country.ating opportunities for students to have fun. Some of the events to look forward to in the coming year are: Central Zone Garba, Rangoli- Diwali Ball, Kangna- a cultural show joint with ASoc, Holi and many other social events. The Hindu Society is part of the National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF), which exists to protect, preserve, practice and promote Hindu Dharma amongst the UK Hindu student population.
