My hero: My old dear

Motto: "Simply because you can breathe, doesn't mean you’re alive or that you really live!"

Hello and welcome to Northampton! Your about to begin 3 of the best years you will experience and I’m fortunate enough to share at least the first year with you! I’m your Vice President of Student Experience, one of the three sabbatical officers representing the students here at The University of Northampton. I am responsible for understanding and improving the experience of the membership (you). My role entails a variety of different things, such as, seeking institutional change where it benefits the members by working with different university departments, representing and celebrating the success of the Students’ Union clubs and societies, the halls representative system, leading all student media, helping deliver fantastic student events across both campuses, help in the running of freshers and re-freshers fairs and increasing student volunteering.

On a personal level I’m approachable and easy going guy, I love to have fun and really enjoyed my University experience (sometimes a little too often). I have been involved with the Union ever since I came to Northampton through a variety of activities and have great hopes of what we can achieve together over the next year and beyond! The biggest part of coming to university is meeting new people, don’t hold back, get yourself out there and meet as many new people as you can! Everybody else is in the same boat as you so ignore the nerves and enjoy it!

The three sabs are here to serve you, take advantage of us and the union and get your monies worth from the university. Here’s to the next year....
