Student Representatives

Most courses will have at least one Course Rep who acts as the first line of student representation within the University. Course reps are fundamental in ensuring the student voice is not only heard, but acted on as well!

What are Course Reps?

Course Reps are students who are elected to act as the link between the students on their course and the university. If there are things that students want to see improved on their course, Course Reps communicate their views to key academic staff, so they can make the changes that students want. Being a Course Rep is a fantastic opportunity to represent other students and play a key role in improving your course and your subject area.

How do I contact my Rep?

Course reps are elected by their course at the beginning of the year, but if you don't know who your Course Rep is please contact Danjie Zhong (Vice President Education) or Sammi Wright (Student Voice Coordinator) to find out.

Why Should I become a Course Rep?

Any student can put themselves forward to become a Course Rep. You should consider becoming a Course Rep if you want to help create positive changes to the student experience at the University of Northampton, you are looking to boost your employability and personal development and if you're an outgoing person wanting to broaden your horizons.
